Quiet Time with God Can Change Your Life
Quiet time with God is something I think it is important to highlight at this time. Is God calling you to a more quiet time with Him? Does He want to bring you to a place where you are no longer consuming things, people, and places more than you are consuming His word or growing in the knowledge He wants you to have by following Him?
As much as we don’t want to admit it, who we choose to watch and listen to has a major impact on what we focus on and how we carry out God’s will for our lives.
My Prayer for You This Week
My prayer is that we come closer to God with each moment this weekend and into the new week. For a few days, hours, or moments, take the time to spend in quiet with God, focusing on what He wants you to hear or learn. For some of you, that might mean reading a book, choosing not to scroll on social media, taking time to fast, or praying for someone else or for a breakthrough in your life.
A Message from My Heart
This is the message I would like to share with you this week, my friends. I also want to thank you for being patient with me as I took some time away to spend with God and get this prayer book out. I will be obedient to how God wants me to show up with my time this year and pray you are doing the same.
Reflect on God’s Promises
In your quiet time, I invite you to remember the promises that God has spoken to His people throughout the Bible. Right now, I’d suggest meditating on this promise:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” – Isaiah 41:10
Importance of Personal Time with God
I also want to highlight the importance of spending personal time with God. When you hear things from other believers or other sources in your life, including me, they should confirm what God has already told you. I have developed a planner for you to follow this week in your quiet time with God.
Now that my newest prayer book, Dear Father God: 365 Days of Powerful Prayer has launched, I will be taking more personal time with God and I want to urge you to do the same. Please support this mission by purchasing the book.
Stay Inspired and Connected
I hope something here has inspired you to read your Bible, repent, share the Gospel, and draw closer to God. Until next time, my dear friends, don’t stop praying to our dear Father God. God bless.
